Welcome to the new Texts and Technology blog! Texts and Technology is an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in the College of Arts and Humanities at the University of Central Florida. This blog will serve as a repository for thoughts and ideas from the minds of our students, faculty, and staff, as well as provide a way for the T&T Community and passers-by to get a glimpse of what’s going on in our T&T world. With this blog we hope to encourage thoughtful and thought-provoking reading and discussion, showcase the achievements the T&T Department’s ongoing activities, give T&T community members a space to voice their research and ideas, and contribute to current scholarly conversations.
To ensure we are able to have a multitude of voices heard through this blog, we have created multiple blog series. Student Space will be a place where students can share their ideas about readings, classes, theories, research, etc. Faculty Fridays will be a series for T&T Core Faculty members to share their thoughts on a topic of their choice. We also will host a series called Creative Curation where authors will create eclectic collections. With an assortment of material and a variety of authors, we hope there is something for everyone. So sit back, relax, and take some time to read about the research and ideas of T&T students, faculty, and staff.
