As UCF celebrates the arts at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the Veterans Legacy Program digitally showcased playscript readings and demonstrated a mobile app for the arts, storytelling and technology themed exhibition night. Undergraduate students in three UCF history courses researched and wrote biographies of more than 100 veterans commemorated at Florida National Cemetery. Directed by Theatre UCF faculty member Holly E. McDonald, theater students also wrote monologues as a way to share veterans’ stories with the public. Learn more about the Veterans Legacy Program here.
