Created in the Directing 1 class within UCF’s Film Program, undergraduate student Ben Gill and his dark comedy Babies will be featured in the largest film festival for young emerging filmmakers: The Future Film Festival. FFF is a five-day festival featuring films and filmmakers from around the world. Gill will participate in workshops and networking opportunities geared to learn alongside up and coming filmmakers and professionals in the industry. This is the 9th British Film Institute Future Film Festival and will run February 17-21.
“I am excited and fortunate enough to have the opportunity to attend the film festival in London. I’ve never been to Europe before, and it’ll be awesome to see how Babies resonates with a more global audience. Babies featured briefly in the promo video for the festival as well.“
The UK news publication ‘The New Current’ describes Gill’s film:
