The Montreal International Festival of New Cinema will present a special 30th anniversary screening of Ken Russell’s classic psycho-sexual thriller Crimes of Passion, written and produced by UCF film professor Barry Sandler.
Crimes of Passion, first released in 1984 is now considered a cult classic, and has maintained a strong audience since showing at the 2009 Florida Film Festival as one of its “Forbidden Films.”
Sandler will attend the festival and present the film followed by a question and answer segment.
The screening will take place at the Pavillon Judith – Jasmin Annex Cinema I on Saturday, October 18 at 7:30pm.
