Ukrainian Alumna Performed Benefit Concert with UCF Musicians

August 24, 2022  Orlando Sentinel has shared a story about Iryna Usova, a Ukranian musician and UCF alumna who has returned to Central Florida after fleeing her war-torn home country. Usova will be performing a benefit concert on Thursday, Aug. 25 at St. Luke’s Church in Oviedo.

UCF History Grad Helps Secure Justice for Military Families Exposed to Toxic Water

August 23, 2022  After 15 years of advocacy, Mike Partain ’21MA helped secure the passage of the PACT Act, which will allow Marines and their families — including the history alum — who were exposed to toxic water at Camp Lejeune to seek damages.
