Started in 2015, UCF Celebrates the Arts continues to grow with this year’s festival. Here, representing various artistic genres, are five key programs at the festival to check out.
Assistant professor of writing and rhetoric Sonia Arellano won the 2022 CCCC Richard Braddock Award for her article “Sexual Violences Traveling to El Norte: An Example of Quilting as Method.”
Department of Writing and Rhetoric Chair Sherry Rankins-Robertson assisted in judging the competing students on how well they communicated their research to a non-specialist audience.
The honorees represent some of UCF’s best and brightest faculty who have helped elevate the university’s reputation on the national and international stages.
