History professor's first book receives award from the Royal Historical Society

Duncan Hardy, associate professor of history, received the 2019 Gladstone Award for his first book, “Associative Political Culture in the Holy Roman Empire: Upper Germany, 1346-1521” from the Royal Historical Society. The volume offers the first book-length study of the Holy Roman Empire in the fifteenth century and proposes a new model for examining medieval and early modern politics.

Two UCF projects accepted for 'Pompeii' exhibition

UCF’s School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD) and Center for Research and Education in Arts, Technology and Entertainment (CREATE) will host Pompeii-related arts initiatives in the months leading up to the opening of “Pompeii: The Immortal City,” an exhibit that will be at the Orlando Science Center from June 2020 to September 2020.
