Kenneth Hanson, professor and program director of Judaic Studies, was invested into the Tess and Abe Wise Endowed Professorship in Judaic Studies. The endowed faculty position recognizes Hanson’s accomplishments and will allow him to advance his work and research.

After conducting research about East African history at UCF, Luis Santana Garcia ’21MA’s time in Malawi allowed him to learn more the culture of the region firsthand.

The UCF Africana Studies program proudly awards the Africana Studies and Business Services Dining Stipend to senior Jasmine Harris. Sponsored by UCF Business Services, the stipend offers an all-access meal plan that grants seven-day access to both campus dining halls, 63 South and Knightro’s.
