Laurie Rachkus Uttich, a Spring 2009 graduate of the M.F.A. program in creative writing has been awarded the highly competitive Iron Horse Discovered Voices Prize in fiction for her short story “What We Tell.” Her story appears in the just-released Winter 2009 issue of Iron Horse Literary Review 11.6.

The Florida Review has announced its Editors’ Awards winners for 2009. See a list of winners on the journal’s Web site. The Florida Review, a literary journal published twice yearly by the University of Central Florida, publishes poetry and prose from emerging and established writers.
