This year’s honorees are using research to help create a brighter future — including Chrissy Kolaya, assistant professor of English.

More than 20 arts and humanities faculty were honored at this year’s Founders Day Honors Convocation.

The annual festival brings musicians, theater practitioners and visual artists from the UCF campus to the Central Florida community in an array of offerings including jazz, dance, musical theater, opera, symphony, bands, visual arts, talks, choirs, family events and more.

Poet Laureate Shawn Welcome will perform at Dr. Phillips Center as part of “A Celebration of the Orlando Poet Laureate” on April 9.

Erika Clippinger presented her findings about South Korea’s music education practices and their impact for Study Research Week.
