“Race to Infinity” is a student-written play about how cultural norms and generational trauma affect a high school girl named Sara. “It resonates with me differently than any other play I’ve read before because it is so raw and new,” co-director and junior BA theatre studies major Hilary Pardey-Hernandez said.

UCF Professors Peter Smith and Matt Dombrowski are recipients of an 85K Unity for Humanity Grant. This grant will fund Smith and Dombrowski’s current Limbitless Solutions’ training game, “Quantum’s Pursuit”, a cyberpunk sci-fi style runner that teaches children with limb differences how to control their muscle flex before they receive their Limbitless prosthetic limb.

Experts, students and guests attended the REALity of ARTificial Intelligence event Monday evening hosted by the UCF Center for Ethics in collaboration with the Center for Computer Vision and the School of Visual Arts and Design.

UCF senior social worker major and dance minor Sabrina Landa said pain started after three months of dancing on pointe, a result of stress fractures caused by malnutrition brought on by her eating disorder.

The message delivered was applicable to people worldwide and highlighted the importance of religious coexistence.
