Lori Walters, associate professor of history, and Joseph Kider, associate professor at the School of Modeling, Simulation and Training have been awarded a Digital Humanities Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for their project, MemoryScan: Humanizing Digital Twin Environments. Once fully developed, the project could allow people to go anywhere back in time through the virtually-recreated memories of others.

Kwanzaa is the weeklong celebration held to honor African heritage in the United States, and will begin on December 18.
