UCF Professors Recreate Communities of the Past with Virtual Reality

Lori Walters, associate professor of history, and Joseph Kider, associate professor at the School of Modeling, Simulation and Training have been awarded a Digital Humanities Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for their project, MemoryScan: Humanizing Digital Twin Environments. Once fully developed, the project could allow people to go anywhere back in time through the virtually-recreated memories of others.
