Due to Hurricane Irma, some College of Arts and Humanities events have been cancelled or rescheduled to a later date. Here are some changes; a full list of events with more details can be found at events.ucf.edu:

  • The deadline for UCF Celebrates the Arts proposals has been extended to September 22. https://www.cah.ucf.edu/news/celebrates-proposals/
  • The RICHES Oral History Workshop has been postponed to October 24.
  • Eclectic Knights, which was scheduled for Sept 7, will be rescheduled. Date TBA.
  • The first week of performances of Theatre UCF’s Iphigenia and Other Daughters has been canceled. Opening night will be Wednesday, September 20. Additional performances may be scheduled, pending actor and technician availability. http://theatre.cah.ucf.edu/events.php?id=3836
  • Philosophy’s colloquium, Dancing with Animals, has been rescheduled to Friday, September 22. https://www.facebook.com/events/1256990454446151
  • The SVAD Faculty Exhibit at the Art Gallery ends today. The next exhibition will be announced next week.
  • The Fall Film Showcase that was scheduled for September 8 will be rescheduled, date TBA.
  • Hispanic Heritage Month, of which CAH is a sponsor, has canceled its opening ceremony. The closing ceremony, featuring keynote speaker Juana Bordas, will be on October 12. Other events and updates can be found at http://ucflafasa.org/
  • The Provost and President College-wide Meeting that was scheduled for Sept 14 will be rescheduled. Date TBA.
