For information (requirements, suggestions, resources, student samples) about the required e-portfolio, see the Writing E-Portfolio Student Guide and Resource Site.

The Writing and Rhetoric E-Portfolio is required for all students earning the B.A. and some students in the minor and certificate programs. To determine your portfolio requirements, please review your degree audit and/or meet with an advisor. You will develop your e-portfolio through assignments in core courses and based on your writing and rhetoric experiences in coursework and other activities (e.g., in student organizations, community or civic work, jobs).

In the Fall and Spring terms, the Undergraduate Programs office will offer open e-portfolio workshops for students. Students should also make an appointment with one of our advisors to discuss their e-portfolio. To gain additional support and feedback, you might work with other students in the major in informal groups.
