must be completed by faculty supervisor before enrolling)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/graduate.ucf.edu\/thesis-advisory-committee-form\/\">Thesis Advisory Committee Form<\/a> (Before you register for thesis hours, your Thesis Advisory Committee Form must be approved by the College of Graduate Studies)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/graduate.ucf.edu\/forms-and-references\/#thesis-and-dissertation-etd\">Defense Announcement Form<\/a> (<span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">To help ensure defenses are tracked consistently and shared on time, students will now submit their defense announcements directly to the College of Graduate Studies using the\u00a0<\/span>Defense Announcement Form<span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u00a0(through Dynamic Forms)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"my-4\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"h3 heading-underline\">College of Graduate Studies Forms<\/h2>\n<p>The UCF College of Graduate Studies hosts a wide variety of forms and references for graduate and postgraduate processes including program application, thesis and dissertation, advising, assistantships, fellowships, funding, teaching, graduation and more.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a class=\"btn btn-info my-4\"\n\t\t\thref=\"https:\/\/graduate.ucf.edu\/forms-and-references\/\"\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\tGraduate Studies Forms and Files\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n<p>A few relevant examples include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"mb-3\">Thesis Advisory Committee Form\u00a0(must be\u00a0approved by the program director, department chair, and dean\u2019s representative prior to enrollment in thesis hours)<\/li>\n<li class=\"mb-3\">Graduate Petition Form (when unusual situations arise, petitions for exceptions to policy may be requested by the student)<\/li>\n<li class=\"mb-3\">Special Leave of Absence Form<\/li>\n<li class=\"mb-3\">Traveling Scholar Request Form\u00a0(a request to\u00a0take advantage of special resources\u2013such as course offerings or research opportunities\u2013available at another university but not at UCF)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Department Forms Restricted Registration and Override Form\u00a0(used to enroll in directed research and thesis hours;
