The Women\u2019s and Gender Studies minor emphasizes intersectional approaches to the study of gender, race, class, ethnicity, and sexuality in national and transnational contexts. Course offerings examine social constructions of sex and gender and provide students with an opportunity to learn about women\u2019s historical and contemporary roles to gain a working knowledge of interdisciplinary feminist scholarship.<\/p>\n

The undergraduate certificate in Gender Studies is designed to provide students with a foundation for discussions of gender, sexuality, and other intersectionalities through a historical and cultural lens, with an awareness of the fluidity of gendered identities and the diversity of gendered experiences.<\/p>\n
