All Bigs and Littles meet as every week in person at UCF to learn about Leadership and STEM. Participation as a Big may also be counted toward UCF Service Learning.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"h4\">Meeting Schedule<\/h3>\n<p>Meetings take place every\u00a0Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at UCF.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"h4\">Eligibility to be a Big includes:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Good academic standing<\/li>\n<li>Clean background check<\/li>\n<li>Make a one-year (Fall and Spring) commitment to be a Big<\/li>\n<li>Be able to meet every Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. via Zoom<\/li>\n<li>Attend all Big Meetings held once a month, Wednesday 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. via Zoom<\/li>\n<li>Complete Youth Protection Program training with the Compliance Ethics and Risk Office<\/li>\n<li>Attend BOTH Big Trainings held on a Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in person at UCF<\/li>\n<li>Preference will be given to STEM majors and\/or Women\u2019s and Gender Studies minors<\/li>\n<li>UCF undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Now accepting applicants for the 2025-2026 school year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"h4 text-danger-aw\"><em>Big Application Deadline:<\/em> Friday, September 19, 2025<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a class=\"btn btn-secondary btn-lg my-4\"\n\t\t\thref=\"https:\/\/airtable.com\/shrvTvRdKaCUsj3y6\"\t\t\t\t\t\ttarget=\"_blank\"\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\tApply to be a Big\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"jumbotron jumbotron-fluid mb-0 bg-primary-lighter pb-5\"\n\t\t\tid=\"facilitators\"\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"container\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n<h2 class=\"h1 text-danger-aw font-condensed mb-4\">Be a SLAM Facilitator<\/h2>\n<p>Once you have been a Big for at least one year and are in good standing with SLAM,\u00a0you may apply to be a SLAM Facilitator!<\/p>\n<p>Facilitators lead all Big and Little Meetings.\u00a0 All Facilitators meet once a week with the SLAM Program Manager to prepare for Little\/Big Meetings.
