Eligibility<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Full-time faculty with any rank at the University of Central Florida<\/li>\n
  2. Eligible projects usually result in articles, monographs, books, digital materials and publications, creative activities, translations, or special editions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Award<\/h2>\n

    $1,000.00 – Two awards given in spring of each year<\/p>\n

    This research excellence award stipend supports individuals pursuing advanced research near completion and of value to women\u2019s and gender scholars, general audiences, or both. Stipends are awarded to individuals or a team of scholars. Organizations, centers or programs are not eligible to apply.<\/p>\n

    Submission Requirements<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Must submit a current CV<\/li>\n
    2. In one-page, single spaced (about 500-words) include the following:\n
        \n
      • Abstract on the project<\/li>\n
      • Timeline on project completion<\/li>\n
      • Description of project stipend need\u00a0(including significance of idea in the body of work, competition and other needs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t
        \n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t
        \n\t\t\t\t\nAll materials should be sent electronically to wgst@ucf.edu<\/strong> with subject line “Gloria Anzald\u00faa Research Excellence Award” by the deadline.
