We are hosting a weeklong virtual event so stay tuned for more!<\/p>\n<p>A nationwide organization providing important reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of people, as well as safe, reliable medical care to local communities. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/\">Planned Parenthood <\/a>offers preventive healthcare to prevent unplanned pregnancies through different forms of contraception, reduce sexually transmitted infections, and prevent cervical and other cancers.<\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood encourages each person to make informed, independent decisions about health, sex, and family planning. In addition to these services, Planned Parenthood educates American\u2019s about reproductive and sexual health. They provide teenagers and adults with all types of information pertaining to sexuality and relationships. Planned Parenthood provides this information to reduce our nation\u2019s extremely high teen pregnancy rate.<\/p>\n<p>Through education programs as well as community outreach, they educate approximately 1.5 million teenagers and adults annually. Planned Parenthood advocates for female reproductive and bodily rights and strives to fight for policies that put women\u2019s health at the forefront, affiliating itself with campaigns that protect women\u2019s rights and educate teens and young adults about sexuality, relationships, and contraception.<\/p>\n<p>Anna Eskamani is an advocate and significant part of Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida mission to community education and organizing.
