Anne Bubriski-McKenzie was the recipient of a Carnegie-Whitney Grant together with other UCF researchers, including Dr. Kristine J. Shrauger and Dr. Yolanda Hood from UCF’s John Hitt Library, and Dr. Liz Grauerholz from the Sociology Department.<\/p>\n
The grant proposal titled “DIVerse Families: Growth in Family Diversity A Comprehensive Bibliography PK-12<\/em>” will allow the researchers a chance to create a comprehensive bibliography and website that exemplifies the growing diversity of interracial and LGBTQ families in the United States.<\/p>\n This type of bibliography would provide teachers, librarians, children\/young adults, and \u00a0parents looking to empower their children with readily available resources.
