Thus far, two cohorts from the College of Nursing have participated in the WAC Faculty Fellows program. This page includes the learning outcomes developed by both groups.<\/p>\n

The first group’s writing-related learning outcomes are centered around two key elements of the nursing curriculum at UCF: using writing for evidence-based nursing practice and using writing to communicate nursing knowledge and information to a variety of audiences which include doctors, patients and their family members, administrators and policy-makers, and the general public.<\/p>\n\t

The second group’s learning outcomes are organized around six categories: critical thinking, domain knowledge, rhetorical contexts, research methods, kinds of evidence, and disciplinary conventions.<\/p>\n\t
