Through the Summer Conference WAC Track, faculty demonstrate an ongoing commitment to seeing students at the University of Central Florida succeed in and through writing. Additionally, they engage with colleagues to create generative collaborations between various units at UCF in support of creating a culture of writing excellence that is sustainable and systemic. In past years, the Summer Conference WAC Track has included the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participating in approximately 10 hours of workshops or professional development sessions specific to writing within and across disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to cross-disciplinary perspectives of the writing ecologies that exist at the University of Central Florida and in higher education at large<\/li>\n<li>Authoring (or co-authoring) a draft proposal for an innovative writing initiative that meets the specific needs of students and\/or faculty at the University of Central Florida and contributes to our institutional, local, and\/or global success<\/li>\n<li>Participating in up to 15 hours of additional workshops and professional development presentations on teaching and learning hosted by the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning or other conference collaborators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We appreciate our UCF faculty\u2019s comprehensive approach to writing engagement.<\/p>\n<p><button class=\"btn btn-primary\" type=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-target=\"#collapseExample1\">Summer Conference 2022<\/button><\/p>\n<div id=\"collapseExample1\" class=\"collapse\">\n<div class=\"card card-block\">\n\t\t<section id=\"summertrack_2022\" class=\"ucf-section ucf-section-summertrack_2022 \" style=\"\" data-section-link-title=\"Summer Conference WAC Track -
