Applicants are encouraged to consult the Texts and Technology website for additional information regarding the program and faculty.<\/li>\n<li>The statement should be between 500 and 1,200 words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"mb-3\"><strong>Writing sample<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"mt-2\">\n<li>A substantial academic writing sample (between 10 and 25 double-spaced pages) and an optional digital portfolio illustrating the applicant\u2019s ability to engage in advanced academic work should be submitted as part of the application materials.<\/li>\n<li>Acceptable writing samples may include a chapter from a master\u2019s thesis, a conference paper, a term paper for a seminar, or other research projects that demonstrate the applicant\u2019s ability to pursue the type of research that could possibly lead to a completed dissertation.<\/li>\n<li>The optional digital portfolio may include examples of digital humanities or interactive media projects that are annotated appropriately to explain the applicant\u2019s contribution to the design and development process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"mb-3\"><strong>R\u00e9sum\u00e9 or CV<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"h4 text-danger-aw mt-4\">Complete applications received by January 15 will be considered for financial\u00a0support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"h5 my-4\">The final application deadline for fall admission is February 1.
