\nThe 2024\u201325 academic season at Flying Horse Editions was defined by artistic excellence, transformative collaborations and meaningful contributions to the world of fine art limited editions.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1992, Flying Horse Editions serves as a premier research center for visual artists. The studio invites acclaimed artists for short-term residencies, where they collaborate with a skilled team of artisans in a state-of-the-art facility. These residencies foster rich exchanges between visiting artists, UCF students and the wider Central Florida community.<\/p>\n

This year, Flying Horse Editions welcomed renowned artists Judy Pfaff, Matt Bollinger and Craig Taylor. The studio also released new limited edition prints by former visiting artists Greg Lindquist and Ryan McGinness.<\/p>\n

Support for our mission is bolstered by an exclusive subscription program, limited to just 40 members. Subscribers receive privileged access to private artist talks and studio demonstrations, along with original artworks produced during the year. Proceeds from subscribers and donors are reinvested directly into the studio and its visiting artist residencies.<\/p>\n

\"Flying
\nFlying Horse Editions also celebrated the continued success of former visiting artists. Chakaia Booker was honored with a solo exhibition at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and Jiha Moon was named a featured artist in the Florida Prize in Contemporary Art at the Orlando Museum of Art. These accolades underscore the studio\u2019s enduring role as a launchpad for innovation and excellence in contemporary art.<\/p>\n

The studio exhibited at the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA) print fair in New York City, the leading showcase for new and historically significant fine art prints. Museum curators and collectors from around the world attended the four-day event held at the Park Avenue Armory. Flying Horse Editions also participated in the INK art fair during Art Basel Miami Beach, one of the year\u2019s most important contemporary art events.<\/p>\n

The Flying Horse Editions student internship program continues to make a lasting impact on UCF students. Through mentorship and hands-on experience with professional artists, interns gain valuable skills and confidence while working in a professional studio environment. The program serves as a launchpad for their artistic journeys, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to navigate the art world.
