Our annual review, Spotlight, provides us with an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the students, faculty, staff and alumni of the UCF College of Arts and Humanities. The past year has been filled with large and small triumphs and challenges have been met with the unwavering spirit that defines our college community.

Our faculty, with their dedication to excellence in teaching and research, have continued to inspire and empower our students. Their passion for their respective fields has enriched the academic experience for students across the university and has played a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual landscape of the disciplines within our college.

Our hardworking staff has ensured the smooth operation of our college. Whether managing administrative tasks, providing critical support services to students or contributing behind the scenes, their efforts have been instrumental in creating an environment conducive to learning and inspiring creativity.

Our students and alumni have demonstrated excellence, adaptability, and a pursuit of innovative thinking. Their achievements, on campus, in industry and around the community, showcase the diverse talents that make our disciplines vibrant and dynamic. They are the heart of our academic community and seeing their successes is a highlight of the year.

As we welcome the upcoming year, let us carry forward the lessons learned, the friendships forged and the momentum we have gained. The UCF College of Arts and Humanities is not just a place of education; it is a community of thinkers, creators and innovators who are making a difference in the world.

I would also like to express my gratitude to our supporters and partners who have been integral to the success of the college. Their generosity and collaboration have enhanced our ability to provide exceptional opportunities for our students and faculty. There are infinite ways to support the UCF College of Arts and Humanities – from a simple “like” on social media to a providing an endowed scholarship – and we are fortunate to have many hands making this work light. Thank you for creating and sustaining the arts and humanities at UCF.

Let us look forward to the new year with optimism, determination and a renewed sense of purpose. May it bring us more opportunities for growth, collaboration and the continued pursuit of excellence in the arts and humanities.
