With the help of\u00a0a recently received $350,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, UCF researchers are working to bring Samuel Johnson\u2019s\u00a0A Dictionary of the English Language<\/em>, into the digital age.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s a major piece of English literature,\u201d says Beth Rapp Young, the project\u2019s principal investigator and an associate professor in UCF\u2019s\u00a0Department of English<\/a>.\u00a0UCF scholars will create the first complete, online and fully searchable version of the famous 18th century Johnson’s dictionary. It is considered one of the most influential works of English literature of all time.<\/p>\n
