Alla Kourova is the winner of multiple faculty awards this spring. Most recently, she was honored for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching at both the college and university level.<\/p>\n
Kourova received the 2014 University Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award. Previously, she was one of four college-level winners from the Arts & Humanities.<\/p>\n
UCF’s Office of Academic Affairs sponsors the awards, which are given each year to 20 full-time faculty members from around the university. From among those winners, a committee with representation from multiple colleges chose Kourova for the university-level award.<\/p>\n
She was honored at the Founders\u2019 Day Honors Convocation in April.<\/p>\n
Kourova also recently received an in-house grant for her \u201cPicturing Russia\u201d project.
