The UCF School of Performing Arts is seeking a part-time assistant box office manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the absence of the Box Office Manager, serve as manager on duty at performances\/events. Coordinate with the Box Office Manager for sales reports, maintain lobby areas, Daytime Box Office and other duties as assigned by the Box Office Manager and\/or Marketing Team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Duties May Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervision of student house manager, box office staff, and ushers<\/li>\n<li>Pulling ticket sales and cash reconciliation reports for the event<\/li>\n<li>Unlocking\/Locking the theatre building following theatre performances<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining safe and clean public facing spaces in theatre, lobby, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with escalated ticketing\/seating\/customer service issues<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with the stage management team for theatre performances, or faculty member running the music concert\/event, to ensure a smooth performance<\/li>\n<li>Implementing and overseeing crowd control\/emergency procedures if needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or Equivalent with 1+ year of Relevant Experience<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience with a ticketing system or Box Office preferred<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage a Front of House Team<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Outlook Mail, Adobe, Excel<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a performing arts setting\/environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Monday-Friday 12\u20135 p.m. (avg. 20 hours\/week; not to exceed 29 hours); sometimes weekends and evenings (locations of work: Orlando \u2013 Main Campus (primarily), Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, or other areas as assigned).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.ucf.edu\/en-us\/job\/501856\/ops-assistant-box-office-manager\">Click here to learn more about the position and apply.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The UCF School of Performing Arts is seeking a part-time assistant box office manager.","protected":false},"author":"","featured_media":"https:\/\/cah.ucf.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/49\/2020\/11\/Were-hiring.png","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_exactmetrics_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[],"tags":[],"dept":[10,6],"class_list":["post-10742","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","dept-college-of-arts-and-humanities","dept-school-of-performing-arts"],"acf":[],"approved":3,"site_name":"CAH News","yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
