The League of Environmental Educators (LEEF) advances environmental literacy and promotes stewardship through excellence in environmental education.

LEEF is a non-profit organization established in 1981 to promote environmental education in Florida at all levels and through a variety of methods and resources. In addition to being the Florida affiliate for NAAEE, LEEF enjoys collaborating with our neighboring states through the Southeast Environmental Education Alliance (SEEA). LEEF is currently working with several partners in the state on the  Florida Environmental Literacy Plan (FELP) and is playing a key role in implementing the Professional Development of Teachers and Nonformal Educators section of the plan.
