Read more about them and their work below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochellehurt.com\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-7462\" src=\"https:\/\/cah.ucf.edu\/floridareview\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2023\/01\/Hurt_TFR-headshot-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>Rochelle Hurt<\/strong><\/a> (Poetry Editor) is a poet and essayist. She is the author of three poetry collections:<span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><em>The J Girls: A Reality Show<\/em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span>(Indiana University Press, 2022), which won the Blue Light Books Prize from<span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><em>Indiana Review<\/em>;<span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><em>In Which I Play the Runaway <\/em>(Barrow Street, 2016), which won the Barrow Street Poetry Prize; and<span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><em>The Rusted City: A Novel in Poems<\/em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span>(White Pine, 2014). Her work has been included in<span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><em>Poetry<\/em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span>magazine and the Best New Poets anthology. She&#8217;s been awarded prizes and fellowships from<span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><em>Arts &amp; Letters, Poetry International,<\/em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span>Vermont Studio Center, and Yaddo. Originally from the Ohio Rust Belt, Hurt now lives in Orlando and teaches in the MFA program at the University of Central Florida.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/brandonamico.com\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-7463 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/cah.ucf.edu\/floridareview\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2023\/01\/Amico_TFR-headshot-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>Brandon Amico<\/strong><\/a> (Poetry Editor) is the author of a collection of poetry,\u00a0<em>Disappearing, Inc\u00a0<\/em>(Gold Wake Press, 2019), and the recipient of a 2019 National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship. His short fiction has appeared in\u00a0<em>American Short Fiction, Joyland, Ecotone<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Puerto del Sol<\/em>, and other literary magazines. He and his writing have been featured in\u00a0<em>Poets &amp; Writers, Electric Literature,\u00a0<\/em>and other national forums. Originally from Louisiana, he teaches fiction at the University of Central Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Submissions to our 2023 Editor&#8217;s Prizes in Fiction, Poetry, and Creative Nonfiction<a href=\"https:\/\/cah.ucf.edu\/floridareview\/submit\/annual-editors-prizes\/\"> are now open<\/a>! The winner in each genre will receive $1,000 and publication in the Review.
