put away the contempt fathers have for sons<br \/>\n&amp; suspended the law of machismo reached for the rusted Texaco box<br \/>\nwith the antiseptic, tweezers &amp; gauze<br \/>\nslapped his knee<br \/>\n&amp; called to his son\u2019s feet,<br \/>\n&amp; began working his way<br \/>\nthrough the skin &amp; blood<br \/>\nof a used car salesman\u2019s ingrown toenail<\/p>\n<p>&amp; never thought, not even once<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">as he cut through the keratin<br \/>\ncleaning &amp;
