The truth is sometimes I call your name because I need you<\/p>\n
to come look at this, look at how alive I am,<\/p>\n

and sometimes how alive I am can only be seen
\nby what\u2019s happening around me: two people cheering<\/p>\n

for a dumpster-diving tree rat, one\u2019s hair<\/p>\n
waterfalling onto the other\u2019s shoulder, joy<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
like a school of minnows swimming overhead\u2014<\/p>\n
another glorious day where we have nothing to bury<\/p>\n

besides our appetites. Listen:
