{"id":1482,"date":"2017-08-15T11:30:26","date_gmt":"2017-08-15T15:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/english-blog.cah.ucf.edu\/?p=281"},"modified":"2017-08-15T11:30:26","modified_gmt":"2017-08-15T15:30:26","slug":"students-comic-book-dream-becomes-reality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cah.ucf.edu\/english\/2017\/08\/15\/students-comic-book-dream-becomes-reality\/","title":{"rendered":"Student&#039;s Comic Book Dream Becomes Reality"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UCF senior Branden Hall hopes that one day Zeek St. Cloud finds his true purpose in life \u2013 but he knows that\u2019s going to take thousands of years.<\/p>\n<p>Hall, who is majoring in creative writing and advertising\/public relations, and his brother Horacio are enabling Zeek on his journey, and recently received an offer of help from Charlotte Hornets basketball player Johnny O\u2019Bryant III.<\/p>\n<p>If this all sounds like fantasy mixed with reality \u2013 it is.<\/p>\n<p>The brothers from South Miami Heights are real, but Zeek resides in the new manga comic <em>Stratum 21<\/em>, soon to be released by O\u2019Bryant\u2019s creative agency, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.noircaesar.com\/\">Noir Caesar<\/a>, which produces creative art, fashion and music.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/today.ucf.edu\/student-writers-adventure-series-join-comics-lineup-nba-players-company\/\">UCF Today<\/a> delves into the Hall brothers&#8217; journey and the success of their work of art, Stratum 21.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"UCF senior Branden Hall hopes that one day Zeek St. Cloud finds his true purpose in life \u2013 but he knows that\u2019s going to take thousands of years.
