Virtual Concert Hall is a VR experience that is meant to help musicians overcome performance anxiety. It is targeting undergraduate music students, however it can technically be used by any musician.

In the experience, the performer is placed on the stage of a recital hall (modeled after a typical University hall) in front of a virtual audience. The idea is that this should closely simulate the concert experience and serve as a type of Exposure Therapy for the musician, to practice performing.

To help facilitate some common requirements while performing, the experience includes a virtual music stand with sheet music that the user can upload (as a PDF), access to the headset’s microphone to mimic the reverberations (echoes) of the hall, and a piano on stage that can play accompaniment that the user uploads (as an mp3).
