CREATE often partners with the Orlando Science Center. Annually CREATE runs STEAM workshops at the Science Center during Otronicon, but this year was even more exciting. In addition to participating in Otronicon, the extended classroom experience was focused on learning all about Pompeii. We studied and painted erupting volcanoes, became archaeologists, and learned about Roman myths all to culminate in the creation of buon frescos that will be displayed at The Orlando Science Center starting October 26th as part of the international Pompeii: The Immortal City exhibition.
