Overrides for non CAH courses that require ENC 1101\/1102 are handled by the college that offers the course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background: white\" class=\"py-4\" id=\"other-colleges\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"heading-underline text-capitalize\">Courses Taught by Other Colleges<\/h2>\n<p>The College of Arts and Humanities can only provide class overrides into courses that are taught by our college, where classes taught by other colleges requiring ENC1101 or ENC1102 as prerequisites will need to be overridden by that college specifically. To get an override into courses taugh outside of the College of Arts and Humanities, you must connect with that college directly to request an override. <\/p>\n<p>If you are uncertain which college teaches a particular course, you can find that information within the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/catalog\/undergraduate\/#\/courses\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">UCF Course Description List<\/a> by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Selecting the class <strong>Prefix<\/strong>, then the <strong>Course<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Confirming the course\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Prerequisites&nbsp;<\/strong>include ENC1101 and\/or ENC1102<\/li>\n<li>Identifying the&nbsp;<strong>Academic College<\/strong>&nbsp;that teaches the course that you are seeking an override for<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Contact information for UCF Academic Colleges can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/asc.ucf.edu\/connect\/\" target=\"_blank\">Academic Success Coaching \u2013 Connect<\/a> website. If you are uncertain where and when to submit an override request, reach out to your <a href=\"https:\/\/mks.sswb.ucf.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Academic Success Coach (ASC)<\/a> directly for questions information regarding overrides and equivalencies.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background: #ECEEEF\" class=\"py-4\" id=\"before-submitting\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"heading-underline text-capitalize\">Before Submitting an ENC Override Request<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>Before submitting an ENC Override Request, <strong>please note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requests submitted without appropriate documentation will <strong>NOT<\/strong> be approved<\/li>\n<li>Overrides are only granted for a student\u2019s initial semester (Fall or Spring) at UCF. For all subsequent enrollment, official credits and test scores must be posted to your record<\/li>\n<li>Students must check their UCF email after submission for next steps<\/li>\n<li>This form provides permission to enroll if documentation is properly submitted, but CAHSA will not enroll a student in the course.
