This certificate offers students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of AI and develop skills for its thoughtful implementation.<br \/>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"jumbotron jumbotron-fluid bg-secondary text-secondary mb-0 \"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"container\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n<div class=\"font-size-lg\"><strong>This certificate is for students who want to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"mb-2\">Explore the impacts and experiences of artificial intelligence through interdisciplinary arts and humanities perspectives<\/li>\n<li class=\"mb-2\">Complement their work in technical areas such as computer science and machine learning with an understanding of the broader impacts of AI<\/li>\n<li class=\"mb-2\">Learn more about the ethics and histories of big data technologies<\/li>\n<li class=\"mb-2\">Establish critical AI literacies<\/li>\n<li class=\"mb-2\">Develop knowledge about and research into the human experiences of their impacts and uses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>The certificate provides an opportunity to better prepare students to work with and advocate for ethical target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">12-hour certificate<\/a>* has two core classes taken by all students and two electives that students select based on their interests.<span class=\"d-none\"><em>These
